In my English 11 class we have been reading a modernism book The Great Gatsby by F. Scott. Fitzgerald. We also have been watching 3 of its films that are all different in their own ways. The newest movie with Leonardo DiCaprio, follows the book more correctly and is my favorite out of this selection of movies.
Shirley Temples at age 85 Black’s death on Monday has brought back many memories of this old Hollywood star. Shirley was one of the early obsessions. From the age of 5 Shirley Temple has been in many movies from ‘Bright Eyes” to “The little Princess.” Shirley made many of people happy during the sad depression and put many of smiles on peoples faces.
